DJ Bone and Deetron will release a collaborative 12-inch called The Storytellers EP on May 27th.
The pairing isn't so surprising. DJ Bone and Deetron linked up a few years ago for "The Life Soundtrack," a loopy and musical techno cut that was subsequently remixed by Radio Slave. Both acts have spent much of their respective careers working with this colourful production style, but the similarities don't stop there: DJ Bone and Deetron are well known for their DJ skills, both counted among a handful of techno DJs who regularly partake in three-channel mixing behind the decks.
The Storytellers EP, which lands on DJ Bone's Subject Detroit, will be the first in a series of collaborative records due out this year. A collaborative all-night party tour is also planned, but further details are TBA.
