- The LA festival has also booked The Black Madonna and Floating Points for its annual two-day gathering.
- FYF has announced the lineup for its 2016 festival, set to go down at Exposition Park August 27th and 28th. LA hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar headlines on day one, and the reunited LCD Soundsystem headlines on day two, with support from the legendary Grace Jones. Todd Terje is back after an appearance at FYF 2014, this time with his band The Olsens. Elsewhere, a solid contingent of underground house and techno DJs includes Honey Soundsystem, Gerd Janson, Bicep and the increasingly ubiquitous The Black Madonna. The festival, which returns to Exposition Park for the third year, also sees French duo Air's first US date in five years, as well as performances from ANOHNI and experimental electronic acts Andy Stott and Oneohtrix Point Never. Floating Points, Grimes, Hot Chip and Junior Boys are also on the bill, as are LA acts Julia Holter and Kelela. Check out the full lineup at the event listing below.
