  • Mystic Bill's "Take Me Back" is getting a new life in December courtesy of Invade Records. Miami-born Bill Torres, AKA Mystic Bill, was involved with the Chicago house scene in the early '90s, moving there after falling in love with house music as a teenager. He had early records on foundational labels like Trax and Relief, and since then he's released EPs on labels like Classic and Odds & Ends Music. The subject of this reissue is a very early track, "Take Me Back," which was originally released on a Trax white label in 1990. It was intended for inclusion on his Trax album but never made the cut, instead seeing release on a various artists EP through Aciiieeed! Records, where it was incorrectly credited to Mateo Murphy. Invade Records rescues the original 1990 mix for the 12-inch, and to accompany it, the Belgian label has commissioned new remixes from Ricardo Villalobos and Brussels artist Ilario Liburni. You can listen to clips of all three below.
Tracklist 01. Take Me Back (Original 1990 Mix) 02. Take Me Back (Ricardo Villalobos Mistuck Vill Remix) 03. Take Me Back (Ilario Liburni Remix) Invade Records will release Take Me Back on December 7th, 2015.
