  • Berlin-based techno label SNTS Records has revealed early details for its 2016 release plans. To date, the label has been a home to records coming only from SNTS himself—there's been six of them, arranged as parts of two trilogies, Chapters and Scenes. About to hit the streets is SNTS's debut album proper, The Rustling Of The Leaves. A couple other artists have also contributed remixes, with Shifted appearing on Scene III and Polar Inertia set to surface again on the upcoming SNTS LP. Next, SNTS Records will expand its reach with solo EPs from three more producers, each with their own experimental approach to techno. Positive Centre, real name Mike Jefford, has been championed by Our Circula Sound and Stroboscopic Artefacts and is up first. His four-track Vorticist EP is scheduled to drop in late January. Set to follow at some point in March will be Steven Porter, the pairing of Japanese artists and 10 Label bosses Yuji Kondo (AKA Ducerey Ada Nexino) and Katsunori Sawa. The duo are teaming up for what looks to be just their second solo release, and first since the LR EP on Weevil Neighbourhood nearly four years ago (they've also made repeat appearances on Semantica). And then, about two months after that one, SNTS Records will welcome OAKE, who've put out a few records on Regis's label Downwards, including their late-2014 debut album Auferstehung. Titles and tracklists for the Steven Porter and OAKE EPs have yet to be confirmed, but as usual for the label, all of these releases will be vinyl-only. Vorticist's tracklist is below. Tracklist A1 The Arrival A2 Prepared Plataform B1 Direct Searching B2 Microlith SNTS Records will release Vorticist in late January, 2015. EPs from Steven Porter and OAKE are scheduled to follow around March and May, respectively.
