DJ Sotofett will release the TDD-DDRR-IPP MIX EP via Laton soon.
The Sex Tags Mania boss dropped his first full-length, Drippin' For A Tripp (Tripp-A-Dubb-Mix), back in January. That record, released via Honest Jon's, had him working with a raft of collaborators. That trend continues on TDD-DDRR-IPP MIX, which features FIT, Bjørn Torske, Dresvn and Madteo. The record has been in the pipeline for more than three years, as Laton explains: "DJ Sotofett's six-tracker for Laton was supposed to be released early 2012—after 3.5 years, three new cuts and bankrupt pressing plants this 12-inch brings old school drum programming and sequencing back to a decent menace level." DJ Sotofett will also return to Honest Jon's soon—his remix of Dresvn's "First Voyage" appears on an upcoming 12-inch from the West London label. You can listen to clips of that one on the Honest Jon's website.
