- The UK diggers return with another rarities compilation in September.
Psychemagik will release Magik Sunset Part Two via Leng on September 4th.
The UK duo are primarily known as DJs, remixers and record collectors. This year sees one half of Psychemagik, Danny McLewin, curating the Magik Sunset series. (This first instalment came out a few months back.) McLewin has a knack for tracking down private press records, and says he found many of the artists featured on the collection "living in remote parts of the US." The label says it would cost a collector thousands to acquire original pressings of the records licensed for Magik Sunset. As with volume one, Magik Sunset Part Two focuses on rare '70s and '80s discs.
