  • Jealous God will release seven EPs in 2015, beginning with Issue No. Six, a split between 51717 and Silent Servant out later this month. Displaying a level of organization that's somewhat rare in the world of limited vinyl pressings, Jealous God laid out its release plans for the entire year via a post to its Tumblr page. All of the records have been given sequential titles, from Issue No. 6 through Issue No. 12. The plan begins with a split between co-owner Silent Servant (AKA Juan Mendez) and 51717, the nom de plume of New York artist Lili Schulder of Shadowlust. Next month, the label will fire off a 12-inch from austere techno producer Alexey Volkov—many of the Russian artist's releases have come via Planete Rouge, the imprint run by Terence Fixmer. Not coincidentally, Fixmer is on deck for Issue No. 8. Moving deeper into 2015, the US label has releases from Phase Fatale and Damien Dubrovnik, the Cophenhagen-based duo of Loke Rahbek and Christian Stadsgaard (Rahbek is a member of Lust For Youth and the pair run Posh Isolation together). EPs from Blackest Ever Black affiliate December and Rancor Index round out the 2015 campaign. The records will be distributed by LA store Mount Analog with limited versions (including zines, art objects and alternate artwork) available in-store. The photo on the cover of Issue No. 6 was taken by Corinne Schvionne. Schulder contributed the back cover image. Tracklist 51717 01. The Glove 02. Porsche 03. Regard Silent Servant 04.
