  • Jeff Mills will release his triple-CD soundtrack for the 1929 Fritz Lang film Woman In The Moon this Friday. Over the past few years, the iconic techno artist—who in 2000 produced a score for Lang's 1927 film Metropolis—has been performing his Woman In The Moon soundtrack around the world by way of audiovisual "cine-mix" sets (the US premiere just took place in late January with a show in San Francisco). Now he's getting ready for an official release on his own Axis Records. Stretching across three CDs and 32 total tracks, the soundtrack is, as Mills himself puts it, "definitely grave, structurally spatial and ubiquitous." Mills is keeping as busy as usual in early 2015—aside from the recent San Francisco gig, he just debuted another album, Proxima Centauri, in Strasbourg, France a few days ago. Tracklist Disc 1 01.
