  • Laurent Garnier's Electrochoc book is getting published in English for the first time. Garnier says the book, first printed in French in 2003, offers "the whole story of the electronic music scene over the last 30 years from the inside, from before the birth of rave in the UK to present day Berlin." It touches on the dance scenes in Paris, Detroit, New York, Berlin, Chicago, London and other cities. As well as first-hand accounts from Garnier himself, Electrochoc features contributions from electronic music luminaries Mike Banks, Jeff Mills, James Murphy, François K and Pedro Winter (AKA, Busy P). A release date has not yet been set, but you can register to buy the book here.
