- The next instalment in the label's ongoing decade landmark focuses on songwriting as opposed to "dark and brooding instrumental music."
Hyperdub will release the next edition in their tenth anniversary series, 10.2, on July 21st.
The UK label, currently in the midst of its tenth birthday celebrations first announced earlier this year, will focus on its song-based material for the second volume after 10.1's more club-oriented emphasis. Made up of a mix of old and new tracks, the new compilation is a single disc that "casts some sunshine over [Hyperdub's] dread filled reputation, showcasing an underrated cast of talented songwriters, vocalists and producers." Jessy Lanza, Dean Blunt & Inga Copeland, Cooly G, Burial and Scratcha DVA all feature, along with new collaborations from Kode9 and Inga Copeland and Ikonika and Dâm-Funk.
