  • Richie Hawtin will play a show at New York's Guggenheim Museum on November 6th. The gig comes as part of a two-day fundraiser hosted by the Guggenheim's Young Collectors Council and put on by Dior. The money made from the event (at $125 a pop, or $500 for VIP tickets) will go towards the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation to support the museum's operations and maintenance. The show will run from 9 PM until midnight, and Hawtin's appearance will be preceded by a performance from his brother Matthew Hawtin. The following evening, there will be a gala dinner highlighting artists James Turrell and and Christopher Wool. Tickets for Hawtin's "pre-party" go on sale October 7th.
