  • Pinch has unveiled his latest project, Cold Recordings. Bristol-based bass music veteran Rob Ellis already runs one of dubstep's foundational labels in Tectonic. Still going strong, that imprint has been a home for most of the genre's biggest and buzzed-about names at one point or another. Cold Recordings, on the other hand, will be a vinyl-only label intended as "an outlet for new movements in the ever evolving UK hardcore-continuum—taking inspirational vibrations from a long standing heritage that ran through acid house, hardcore, jungle, UK garage, dubstep and beyond." The first three releases will all be debuts from brand new artists. Cardiff-based producer Elmono will helm the inaugural two-track EP. Pinch has uploaded an all-vinyl mix showcasing the label's sound and concept, which you can listen to here. Tracklist A. Baton Rouge B. Shadows On The Moon Cold Recordings will release COLDR001 in late April 2013.
