James Blake tours the US

- The UK artist will hit the road with FaltyDL this spring, marking the release of his new album.
- James Blake has announced a US tour through April and May. The London-based singer, songwriter and producer just revealed details of his second album Overgrown, to be released in early April. That album follows his self-titled debut, which saw him rocket to mainstream-level fame in the UK with his accessible, vocal-driven new sound. His American tour will begin just after the release of Overgrown and feature his usual live setup, complete with band. On just over half the dates he'll be supported by Brooklyn producer FaltyDL, himself celebrating the release of his own full-length Hardcourage. The first string of shows will see Blake in California to play both weekends of Coachella festival, and also hit San Francisco and Santa Cruz. From there, FaltyDL joins as they head up the West Coast, stopping in Seattle, Portland and Vancouver. They'll weave through the midwest, including Salt Lake City, Denver, Lawrence, Minneapolis, Chicago and Detroit, and then end on the Eastern seaboard for dates in Toronto, Montreal and Boston, with FaltyDL's last support slot landing on May 9th at NYC's Terminal 5. Blake will then embark on another short solo leg with stops in Philly, DC and Carborro, North Carolina, wrapping up in Atlanta on May 14th.
