We Love Techno, located in Coacalco, Mexico, is a mexican company dedicated to promote electronic music in different ways such as a label, events & festivals production, music academy, dj booth & audio rental and management. It´s owner, Acid Kit, is one of the Top Mexican DJs, Producers and Promoters in Mexico.
Since 1995 and several changes, We Love Techno has promoted big events and festivals all around Mexico. The most important festivals are Yolotl | El Festival del Corazon, Ilhuitlcoatl | El Festival de la Serpiente and Xochitl | El Festival de las Flores. In the past, We Love Techno booked and worked with international artists like Green Velvet, T-1000, Johnny Fiasco, Richie Hawtin, Woody McBride, John Acquaviva, DJ Heather, Lego, Joeski, Westbam, Pacou and many more. Since 2006, the principal goal is support mexican artists, that´s why all the line ups in the last festivals and parties were booked with mexican talents.
The label started in 2006 as Technotitlan Records, a netlabel to release all the music of their artists. In 2009 Technotitlan Records signed with Trackitdown and Junodownload, then in 2010 signed with Beatport. In 2012, as a marketing strategy, Technotitlan Records stopped and We Love Techno, as a label, began to release the most important releases of the last label and the new brand music of their artists.
In 2008, We Love Techno started it´s own DJ Academy getting very good success. In 2010, the academy expanded to Music and DJ Academy, offering courses of DJ, Electronic Music Production and Music Instruments. In 2012, with more experience, We Love Techno has grown up in technology and capacity in the installations, offering more quality with it´s teachers.
We Love Techno was nominated as Best Electronic Music Event Producer in 2011 by DJ World Music Conference and hass been interviewed in DJ Sounds Ibiza by Pioneer as one of the Best Electronic Music Companies in all Mexico.
