After Having released records on various labels and co-founding Contraband Records in the 90's, DJ/Producer Gene King, founded Shines Records in 2005.Gene and Co. are dedicated to bringing a new fresh sound to club music as well as highliting some of T.O and Montreal's finest talent .The labels sound varies on each release(from Broken Beat,Deep,Tribal,Afro,Latin,Tech etc.....) while keeping true to the undergound club sound.
