Like your body, music is full of feelings. The brainchild of Milan DJ Stefano Fontana, famed for his Stylophonic project and residencies in the top Italian clubs Magazzini Generali Milano and Goa Rome, and Andrea Appolloni, Room9Recording's owner, new label Body Resistance Music unites the emotional response to sound with the desire for physical movement, crystallising the sensation which connects the DJ with the dancefloor and the individual with the outside world. Inspired by both the flexibility of the human form and the constantly changing nature of music itself, Body Resistance will be a platform for collaborations between Italian and international artists, rooted in house but drawing on techno, funk and hip-hop to stimulate heart, body and mind.
