About

  • Ambig Records is a label set up by Irishman Matt Smith aka Jeremiah to release quality electronica. The first release on the label was to showcase a two track ep from Jeremiah called "Klingon" which also included the track "Soul Searcher." The release was a success on all the major download sites. From the success of this release Ambig was able to move forward with its second project "Surface of the Moon" this time seeing the label employ the remix services of none other than Slovenian techno legend Umek and also German up and comer Alex Connors whose track "Trust" was featured on Marco V's compilation "Combi-Nations III." It was an unstoppable package that was a mainstay in the boxes of such Dj's a Carl Cox, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and many more top jocks. In October of 2008 Ambig released its latest creation from Jeremiah "Treeman" an inspired Tech-House track with remixes from German techno maestro Brian Sanhaji and Slovenia's new man of the moment Reaky with his tracks topping a number of major download sites and also making waves all over the globe with Dj's such as Eddie Halliwell, Pedro Delgado and John O Callaghan. 4th release from Irish label Ambig records due out on 7th of April 2009 comes from Ukrainian newcomer Thomas Create. The original is an onslaught of big room Techno with a driving bass and piercing sirens. Remixes come from label owner Jeremiah who gives a more Tech-House approach using the vocal to create the groove and Dutch producer M.I.R.K.O from HEY!! records who brings a cool funky minimal sound which is a signature of his style
