German label Brouqade was founded by Dana Ruh and Ann M Cazal back in 2007. From the outset, their modus operandi was simple: to release cutting-edge electronic music that they loved. Fortunately, many others felt the same, and by the time, Brouqade had emerged as a label of staggering quality.
Never one to pander to the masses, Brouqade has long proved a medium for a vast array of upfront and off-kilter records, a way of working that’s undoubtedly aided its lofty reputation. Alongside records by label mainstays the imprint has also fostered established and up-and-coming talent, with Dragosh, Christopher Ledger, Formas & Giuliano Lomonte just some of the others who’ve left an impressive marker on the Berlin-based label.
