Based between Rome and Berlin since 2018, 99CHANTS is a label and artistic platform that takes its cue from ancient and medieval poetry, tracing and expanding the contours of the chant in present forms. Unrestricted by genre or format, each of the platform’s instalments exist as a cultural artefact, a reflection of their zeitgeist. 99C is premised on a progressive ethos; a tangible commitment to the environment and to representation for everyone. A finite project, it will complete on its 99th release.
