The 16th annual Sonar festival went much like any other: Young people flocking by the tens of thousands to the official events, while dozens of so-called Off-Sonar parties took over nightclubs, boats and hotel rooftops across Barcelona. With so many things going on at once, tough calls had to be made at every turn. Should I see Plastikman and Dixon in a gigantic arena, or Ricardo Villalobos at a swanky beach club? Moodyman in the courtyard of a contemporary art museum, or dOP at a pool party? Am I too hungover for that eight-hour harbor cruise with Seth Troxler? By the time the weekend finally lurched to a close, it seemed like hardly anyone had had the same experience. Here are just a few of the moments our photographers caught amidst the mayhem.
