Late Night Studies Feat. David Bangma [Insert/Peoples Club]

  • Canberra has a brand new music, arts and food venue, and The Department is joining forces to create something new and fresh! ‘PopUp’ opened on the 10th July at ANU – a medium size live music venue, with a bar and new food space, with minor retail & other services. It’s an exciting time for our city, and we are bringing The Department to PopUp at ANU with DJ's and live visual arts for a new night - 'Late Night Studies'. Zone out with some of Canberra’s best house & techno DJ's, along with a few special interstate guests on each ‘study’ session. Our first event features David Bangma from Sydney's Insert crew and established GoodBar Friday crew ‘People's Club’. Guest supports include Bakgat & Gate Five who have both been making waves on the Canberra scene, plus our studious residents Fourthstate, Super Mariusz, Kazuki & B-tham. The bar has cheap drinks and the music starts early, so come and get a feed for dinner at the local food vans before you 'study' the night away with The Department. --------------------- Music starts at 8pm Ticket Sales: Early Bird $10 + BF via Resident Advisor 1st Release $15 + BF via Resident Advisor Door Sales: $15 before 11pm $20 after 11pm ---------------------- DAVID BANGMA [Insert/Peoples Club] David Bangma is a Sydney based DJ, producer, label owner and club night founder.
