FABRICLIVE: Heartless Crew Carnival Warm Up Special

  • FABRICLIVE preps for a one-off Carnival Special this August Bank Holiday as Heartless Crew headline Room One. Taking influence from the sound of jungle and drum & bass, in the early 2000s they became one of the garage scene’s leading forces, and with regular appearances on the likes of Rinse FM they remain staples. Rising star Nadia Rose also joins following the release of her ‘Highly Flammable’ LP, while UK Garage leading player MJ Cole also lands. One of the garage scene’s longest-running artists with his own label Prolific, most recently Matthew Coleman has launched 892 Recordings as an avenue for his productions. Joining him in Room One are bassline prodigy Darkzy and junglists Brockie & Det, while DJ Sizzla and FABRICLIVE regular Blazey Bodynod round off a billing of urban-led flavours in Room One. Over in Room Two, we invite a range of artists pushing some drum & bass weight at our Pioneer Pro Audio rig with Crissy Criss and Mampi Swift playing a 2 hour set to head the bill. Hospital stalwart Cyantific also brings his liquid-edged sound alongside Playaz affiliate Heist, while Sweet Tooth's Nu Elementz makes his FABRICLIVE debut with T>I. Room Two is completed with an appearance from Bristolian TS2W, while some of jump-up’s key MCs take on hosting as Azza & Grima, IC3, Dreps and Texas all return. -- fabric is an over 19s venue Please remember to bring ID with you.
