Designed to stand out from the usual after-Movement event choices, The Other 9 to 5 will showcase an impressive performer roster, including internationally prominent techno artists making exclusive Detroit appearances. Patrons will enjoy this decadent audio experience at River’s Edge Grille, a large bar and restaurant in downtown Detroit with a gorgeous open-air deck. The two performance areas featuring crystal-clear sound will be designed especially for the event by Source Audio. VOLATL has produced dozens of memorable techno events in Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Miami with a forward-thinking approach to bookings and cutting-edge sound systems. Clink Recordings, inspired by Camea and Insideout, laid its foundation in Brooklyn in 2003. Through the experience of sunset festivals, peak-hour DJ slots and 10am euphoria, Clink (now based in Berlin) presents the full spectrum of these vulnerable interactions and focuses purely on its love for unique artistic ideas. Clink’s artist roster includes Camea, Insideout, Elon, Tim Xavier, Adultnapper, Tony Rohr, Alexi Delano, and Afternoon Coffee Boys. Berlin’s Hello?Repeat Records, established in 2005 by Jan Krüeger, has put out some of the most brilliant minimal house releases of the last few years, including Bruno Pronsato’s critically-acclaimed 2007 album, Why Can’t We Be Like Us?. Hello?Repeat’s catalogue also includes music from Daze Maxim (Hertz 4), Half Hawaii, Audio Werner, and Cabanne.
