Paul Grau BIO
It all began in the catacombs of the then legendary club Klub Kamikaze. Not yet of legal age and with a fake ID in his pocket, Paul Grau sneaked behind the DJ booth in style of McLovin. A short time later with some befriended DJs he founded the Tiger Rag Club and after a dozen sweaty nights he found himself in the nightlife of Berlin. Together with his sloth, he moved into a flat and inspired by the grey city of Berlin, he developed an intense love for deep, organic and synthetic sounds. Contrary to his name „Grau“, harmonious diversity looms a large role in Paul‘s DJ sets. With a mixture of warm, soulful House with influences of Disco, Funk and Jazz, he sets the audience into motion. If that is not enough, he has a decent portion of groove and the occasional surprise always at hand in his record bag.
Dan Lo BIO
Dan Lo has been a regular at The Observatory since it first opened and became the third official resident of the club early this year. Playing an eclectic blend of house, disco and techno with frequent movements into afrobeat and other obscurities, he’s likes to fire up a crowd’s impulse to dance through rare and raw sound power.
