Specter is back!
Yep, that's right... for our first party of the new year, our man from Chicago returns for a night of deep underground dance music without front or formula.
With his roots in the passion and creativity which characterised the birth of house music and swiftly changed the world, Andres Ordonez is a straight legend in the game.
He made a name for himself as young DJ playing loft parties spinning house, disco, italo and techno records in a style that's been described as sublime, sensual and earthy.
He's since gone on to release some of the deepest and most dangerous records you're likely to hear (leading to a hotly anticipated full-length LP on Sound Signature, due to drop later this year).
Hearing him roll out live you'll find bumping drum machine workouts next to the deepest disco, overlooked vocal anthems alongside jazz fuelled house cuts and downright nasty acid trax. Basically, the man is a killer DJ.
After much research our venue of choice is the tunnel room of The Black Swan (at the back, alongside the garden) for a striped-back and intimate vibe. We'll be putting in our own sound system, will have our own bar and entrance and exclusive access to the courtyard with late night food on sale from Ah-Ma's Dumplings outside.
It's been a long time since we went to the Swan but this room is made for raving.
We can't wait for Spec to beat it.
