2017 we are in you and back in the party game with a fine mix of long-time heavyweights and some of our favourite up-and-coming artists.
Peter Van Hoesen has never been a typical techno producer. Despite being considered one of the genre's tastemakers, he is someone who sculpts sounds for many different environments - the club, the home, the gallery or museum. Whatever he turns his hand to is infused with a true sense of personality. Having delivered one of the techno sessions of 2016 in August alongside Donato Dozzy we simply couldn’t wait to have him back and join us for the first time in Corsica’s main room.
Mike Servito’s name has been in the ascendant for some time, but 2016 was the year he transformed from an underground favourite to one of the scene’s go-to party starters. An unashamed devotee of the 303, expect the Bunker NY resident to bring nothing less than the finest acid house jams delivered with style and attitude.
Courtesy's exceptional FACT mix caught all of our attention. Her combination of raw electro, techno and acid jams was sick in the headphones and electric on the dancefloor, as she’s shown to devastating effect with sets at Berghain, De School and her local club Culturebox in Copenhagen. Her new label Ectotherm is also starting to make waves so expect big things in 2017.
Willow’s superb releases on Workshop put her firmly on the map in 2016 after years of hard work on the UK underground. Her deep, tasteful sets at Corsica Studios, Field Maneuvers and Warehouse Project show she’s not just a talent in the studio but knows how to hold a dancefloor. A recurring feature in 2016’s end of year lists, we can’t wait to hear her at Make Me.
Minor Science has a unique take on electronic music and is an artist we’re extremely excited about. He's featured on The Trilogy Tapes with two exceptional 12s for Whities. He’ll be closing things off in Rm2 with his high-tempo jams.
Support across both rooms from Make Me residents Rubin and Nic Baird.
