Having celebrated their 20th anniversary last year, Planet Mu show no signs of slowing down. Initially a sub-label of Virgin Records in ’95, it was established as a platform for founder’s Mike Paradinas’ music launching into a fully fledged independent by 1998. The label curates an evening of club music for their October showcase as part of Clock Strikes 13’s forthcoming series.
Kuedo headlines. He returns to the label to release his long-awaited second album ‘Slow Knife’ this October, promising intricate sound designs his new record picks up where his debut ‘Severant’ left off.
Long-serving Planet Mu artist Ital Tek also plays. He’s recently come into his own with his magnum opus ‘Hollowed’. Pushing the boundaries of dubstep, ‘Hollowed’ saw Ital Tek move into powerful new territory – a set we’re looking forward to most.
Also with a Planet Mu release this year (check the Mavericks EP), Sami Baha joins the bill.
Special guests on the night are footwork staples DJ Spinn and Traxman who go b2b – rounding off a solid night of programming.
