Superstition presents Planetary Funk 22 Light Years - Luke Slater, Shifted, Dasha Rush

  • 2016 sees Luke Slater add another string to his bow in the form of the Planetary Funk, 22 Light Years Tour. The tour brings together a whole host of contemporaries to curate a series of nights celebrating an amazing 22 years since the release of the very first volume of the now legendary, Planetary Funk series. To celebrate this hypnotic milestone, there will also be a special release, you can check this out here - We welcome back Shifted following his debut live show for us here in London earlier this year. Shifted's first release came out on Luke Slaters' Mote Evolver imprint back in 2012 and he us now due to drop his 3rd album, "Apropriation Stories" released on Hospital Productions in mid October. The Fullpanda Recrods boss Dasha Rush joins the bill. After playing for us back in May this year, with one of the classiest closings we've seen. We just had to get her back Kamikaze Space Programme is a true sonic renegade, a genuine musical experimenter. Somewhere between a classic Musique Concrète and modern electronic approach, KSP’s music is made up of myriad samples, found sounds and white noise from real world situations, it lends the stuff a very real texture and aesthetic that links it to the here and now, the everyday, in a very real way. Tying off this amazing bill we have Superstition residents, CSGRV and Jamie Haus. Performing together as Pathworks, this is a duo who really know how to set the scene at Village Underground.
