Two years have quickly come to pass since we first set out on our simple mission: to showcase local underground talent from all corners of the country alongside international heavy-hitters with the intent to provide high quality music from beginning to end. We look forward to sharing this 20+ hour journey with you once again, in true Brooklyn fashion.
We could not be more excited to ring in the rooftop season with a very special extended set from none other than TERRENCE PARKER The International DJ Extraordinaire (Official Page)! Those of you that joined us for our Labor Day celebration two years ago may remember the raw energy the man can bring across 4 decks in an intimate setting. This time around Merachka will be performing live vocals with TP, ideal for the occasion atop our colorful art-laced rooftop atmosphere. Joining his Detroit brethren Dru Ruiz returns to re-create the magic bestowed on us for our one-year ceremonies! We’ve also enlisted Brooklyn’s finest, Justin Schumacher who is sure to bring the proper funking grooves like only he can. Finally from Dallas, Jen Littlz will be warming up the day portion of this event with her deep and wave riding selections.
As darkness approaches, we continue down a twisted techno dungeon, providing an aural onslaught throughout the late hours. Headlining the evening, Italian-born, Berlin-based producer and Dadub member, Daniele Antezza will debut his recent solo live project Inner8- A heavy, experimental alias that’s less dub and more abstract but certainly guarantee to enthrall with off-kilter rhythms and a barrage of growling bass. Hailing out of Kansas City, Uun will be making his anticipated Brooklyn debut. His productions and recent mixes have been on heavy rotation and we are highly looking forward to his new live set he has developed in recent months. A pillar in the Denver techno scene, John Templeton is the founder of Great American Techno Festival and will be joining us just as he returns from his European tour. Techno veteran James Kelley (Official Music Page) has been laying down his darker minimal variant of techno for years but seems to be getting heavier and harder everytime we catch up. We can't wait. Blank Code's Joe Sousa will also be marking his NY debut representing a new generation of Detroit sounds. Multifaceted artist Merachka will be joining in the warehouse once more to lay down a proper set for us. Finally we welcome the return of Aphotic resident Dani Lehman to remind us why she's been slaying the decks all over the country as of late!
