ISABELLA (Koen, formerly known as SITTING ADULT) only recently emerged from her bedroom studio to share her odd, off-beat impressions of acid and techno. As an outlet to breach the static form, she uses a quirky collection of synthesizers and drum machines to explore texture, fluidity and boundaries within sound.
Isabella is the resident and co-founder of Substructure Boston, a bi-monthly night showcasing talent by F/T/W producers and DJs focusing on the live hardware production of dark electronic music, techno, house, grime, acid, noise and experimental performances.
On March 8th she will begin with a live set of original, hardware acid and techno, transitioning into a DJ set to close the night. Byoosik, resident and co-founder of VAULT will be setting the opening vibes.
