  • SUB CLUB presents Luke Slater [Planetary Assault Systems] Dan Monox Sewelly (Relentless) 11pm - 3am £10/£8 One of Britain’s true electronic music and Techno pioneers. A career that has spanned 20 years and counting, from early DJ sets back in 1988 and his first release "Freebase" in 1989 through to his new Planetary Assault Systems album due for release 2009 Luke Slater continues to reinvent himself and push musical boundaries. His regular appearances at Legendary clubs Fabric London, Nitsa Barcelona and Berghain in Berlin retain his superstar status today as a live performer and of course a DJ prepared to deliver 5 hour sets to sell out crowds. Luke also took the time to set up Mote Evolver back in 2006. A label run By himself releasing limited 12" copies for the collector and digital downloads through the Mote Evolver website. After a hectic 20 years 2007/2008 saw Luke Slater slow things down a little to recharge his batteries and is now focused more than ever for the next phase in his career. Luke's eagerly anticipated new Planetary Assault Systems Album due for release in 2009. Joining Luke are 2 of Glasgows Best Techno Dj's, By day Dan Monox is the vinyl buyer for the illustrious Rub a Dub records in Glasgow, by night he is the promoter and resident of Glasgows most respected and underground techno night Monox which has played hosts to some of the worlds finest DJ’s and live acts including Adam X, DJ Funk, Underground Resistance, Woody McBride and Scan 7. Dan’s own productions and legendary DJ sets have netted him fans from across the globe and respect from leading figures in underground dance music. Sewelly promoted and DJ'd at the excellent Relentless that ran at the Sub Club for Five years. During that time he played alongside scene stalwarts such as Mark Broom, James Ruskin, Surgeon, The Hacker, Steve Rachmad, CJ Bolland, Joris Voorn, Stanny Frannsen, Mark Williams, Pounding Grooves, Mark Hawkins, Kevin Saunderson, The Advent, DJ Bone, Luke Slater and Dave Angel.......phew........They finally went out in a high with Ben Sims playing there final party to a full house. He still continues to push the sound of future Techno all over the city and beyond.
