POW!WOW: Dumb-Unit meets Kliks

  • The first POW!WOW party at Weekend brings together esteemed neuro-minimal imprint Dumb-Unit and Brighton, UK's much-loved club night, Kliks, for a rare Berlin show from tech-house legend 'Evil' Eddie Richards. During his residencies at London's Camden Palace and Clink Street in the '80s, Eddie was one of the very first DJs to embrace the burgeoning sound of house music. He went on to fuse house and techno in hitherto unexplored ways at pioneering London party Wiggle throughout the '90s, and is widely considered to be the godfather of the tech-house sound. Today, he continues to travel the globe relentlessly, playing a peerless blend of deep, rolling grooves and tough, tribal-tinged beats. He's joined by Kliks head honcho and RA scribe Lee Smith, alongside DU boss Jeremy P. Caulfield.
