XXXchange hit the music scene as producer for rap/electro sensation Spank Rock when he produced their album ‘YoYoYoYo'. XXXchange has also done remixes for Santogold, Lady Sovereign, Beck, Lily Allen, Bjork and Thom Yorke from Radiohead.
Boy 8-Bit has made his mark on the music scene as a producer, promoter and resident of the night Body Clap at T-Bar and Fabric hosted by himself and Touché. Born out of a love of having a good time, the night has been running for over 2 years. Previous guests have included Simian Mobile Disco, Kissy Sell Out, Annie Mac, Phones, Williams, Justin Robertson, and Punks Jump Up.
Girl of the moment, VV Brown, is a 24-year-old singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer. She started out as a LA based backing vocalist for the Pussycat Dolls and as also worked with the Sugababes. VV Brown draws inspiration from old rock'n'roll through a love for Elvis, soul, pop, punk, do wop, indie and influences from Nintendo games and Disney movies.
Ezra Bang + Hot Machine are a boy/girl act that are currently threatening East London, although Ezra himself hails from the ‘hood in New York. Frontman rapper Ezra bassist Sara Belle, drummer Ralph Phillips and synth players Linus Jackson and Mio Kuromori make up the 5 piece act. The sound of heavy synths and socially aware lyrics brands their own unique form of hip-hop.
Thunderheist, a Canadian duo consisting of MC and singer Isis and producer Grahmzilla, unleash serious 80's inspired electro-pop with heavy boom bap party funk. They are a duo with a busy schedule, leaving dancefloors sweaty the world over, with tunes like 'Jerk It', 'Suenos Dulces' and 'Bubblegum' to get bodies bumping.
Patchwork Pirates are 3 Djs, Tom McCarthy, Terence Teh and Alex Stevenson who play hip-hop and club music with a low end lean to make you sweaty inside. They front London's Thugs & Hugs at The Legion. They sound like-bish bosh bump wob wamp!!
