Seven years ago, DJ Food and DK launched Ninja’s hugely successful “Solid Steel” mix series with “Now, Listen”. The current main movers of the long running and much-loved “Solid Steel” radio show and club night, they laid out the basic template of all that was to follow. A dizzying, kaleidoscopic pile-up of musical styles and spoken word eclectica, all pieced together, layered and re-treated with the sort of attention to detail that only comes from nerdy obsession and music collections that need reinforced floor supports to be held safely.
2007 saw the sequel “Now Listen Again” released to an ever increasing fan base and once again to critical acclaim.
The result of their accumulated years of musical knowledge, unparalleled mixing ability, complete disregard for genre boundaries and a quirky sense of humour is a Dancefloor heaving journey through a wide spectrum of beats and breaks from Timbaland and Human League to Aphex Twin and New Order and many many more
To add to the festivities DJ Food & DK will be performing their recently developed AV (Audio Visual) set to inject yet another dimension of elements to their already captivating show.
