The clock is ticking until the Snowbombing team takes to the road and hook up with some of the coolest promoters the UK has to offer. Celebrating its 10th birthday next March the Snowbombing tour is travelling the length and breath of the country to warm up our winter nights.
The 21st November sees Snowbombing lift off in a blizzard of musical mayhem with Moda, who have gained a reputation for throwing huge 1600 person Engine Shed parties (that sell out every time!) and intimate house party style rave-ups! This summer’s festival wonder kid, Toddla T takes to the decks, whirling up a Zouk, Tropical, 2 Step set. Keeping the beats alive and your feet moving until the early hours, JAYMO & ANDY GEORGE, INGO STAAR, JAK Z are providing the back drop to Moda’s fake snow and ski party.
Hopping on the Snow-mobile the tour takes a turn to the West Country for two massive parties in December. On the 5th December The Blast welcomes in Snowbombing for ‘Sh*t the bed 6’…lets hope no one actually defecates themselves! It’s a pure class line up that’s PHAT! How often do you get the opportunity to see so many DJs under one roof? Music will vary from Techno to D‘n’B to Break Beat with heavy weight champions of the DJ scene: SWITCH, DJ ZINC, SI BEGG, TAYO, RUSKO, DANNY BYRD, CLIPZ, MONDAY MURKAGE CARTEL, THE BLAST DJS.
The second Bristol event takes place on New Year Eve as team SB join up with legendary Bristolian promoters: Blowpop. On the night that sees the whole world party in unison Simian Mobile Disco will be throwing down some rare and wonderful tracks at Motion Skate Park. Also, on New Year Eve, Snowbombing gets East London on its arse as festival bods salute the nerds, the Urban Nerds that is. SB love the Urban Nerds so much that they have agreed to spend Valentines with them at their spiritual home, 93 Feet East…no hanky panky now guys.
Snowbombing returns to Sumo (Portsmouth) for another round of randomness on the 18th December. Indie darlings Foals are the SB’s special guests for this little piece of Austria in the South Coast. Keeping to the South Coast Redhot (Devotion, Superdubpressure, Supercharged) from Brighton (16TH Jan) and 2020 Rocks from Bournemouth (30th Jan) can shout from the mountains that the best party is in town. Heading to Manchester, on the 9th January, Snowbombing joins forces with old friends Bugged Out at Sankeys for a night of legendary proportions. The final stops on the Snowbombing tour will keep the momentum alive as preparation for the main event steps up a gear.
Its time to dig out the snow goggles and a don your multi colour ski suit as the Snowbombing Tour comes to town. These parties will all be ski and snow themed as a huge slice of Austrian magic gets sprinkled over the UK capturing the feel of the winter alpine party spirit of Snowbombing. These parties are just a taster of the inimitable mountain-top experience that awaits thousands of UK revellers next March.
