We're starting this night early, at 9, and we're featuring 2 for 1 drinks between 9 and 10:30.
We were first blown away by Davide when he and Dubfire played a tag-team set at the Beatport pool party in Miami last Conference. Davide Squillace's set at Minitek was also one of our favorites, so we're excited to have him perform in DC.
In case you haven't heard of Davide, here's some information about him:
Davide Squillace was born in Siena in 1977, and grew up in Naples, Italy. At age 20 he moved to London, where he came into contact with the electronic scene for the first time. He started purchasing equipment and making his first records. His first track came out on Primate Records, and soon after his talent was noticed by Audio and Contrast, who released his next several EPs. Then in 1999, Davide moved back to his hometown, Naples, to study sound engineering. He began playing in the city’s clubs, which are famous for their top quality DJs. The crowds enthusiastically embraced Davide and soon he was launched into the circuit of Neopolitan techno DJs.
Fast forward to 2007 and Davide has joined the crew of Circo Loco Ibiza, rocking the island with a residency at DC10. His records are played by DJs like Danny Tenaglia, Luciano, Dubfire (Deep Dish) and Steve Lawler in clubs across the world. And his own dynamic DJ sets are symbolic of the quality of his music: light and fast and full of strength.
