  • House-n-Home is a back to basics loft party with amazing talent, a sound system that will make your head spin, cheap drinks, and the kind of vibe we feel is sadly missing in the NYC electronic music community at the moment. The first House-n-Home party in September brought out a nice cross section of the house community, the dancers scene, and the afterhours techno heads, and everyone left happy. We've tweaked the formula a little for this party and expect it to be even better. We've watched Francis Harris (aka Adultnapper) rise through the scene from just another guy buying records at the local shops to an internationally respected DJ and producer. We couldn't be more proud to welcome this hometown hero into the House-n-Home family. Francis was resident DJ and co-founder of the infamous Matter/:Form boat parties, the first and best boat parties we've ever been to. Adultnapper has produced over twenty releases in the past three years on labels like Audiomatique, Dirt Crew, Mule Electronic, and his own imprint, Ransom Note. He has appeared at huge clubs around the world, including Circo Loco at DC-10, Weekend, The End, Sunday School for Degenerates, and countless events in NYC for Made Events. Tonight's set will see Adultnapper digging deep into his crates to help bridge the ever narrowing gap between modern late-night techno and house music in the deep dark style that he pulls off so well. After Jus-Ed's incredible set at the first House-n-Home, we were very eager to bring in the other members of the Underground Quality family, DJ Qu and Black Jazz Consortium, into the fold. Black Jazz Consortium aka Fred P, the studio maven behind the Soul People Music label, is one of the most sought after deep house artists to arise from NYC's underground in years. He's finally starting to get some recognition overseas as well, and will be leaving shortly for a European tour with DJ Jus-Ed and DJ Qu. Qu has been a staple of the NYC house music scene for a long time now through his residency at House Dance Conference and other DJ appearances around town. Last year, he started the Strength Music imprint, and has really turned some heads with his orginal productions for the label. Tonight, DJ Qu & Black Jazz Consortium will be treating us to a tagteam set that is sure to go ultra-deep and get the dancers on the floor. House-n-Home resident DJ and co-founder Anthony Parasole has been having a big year. He launched Novel Sound with Levon Vincent in September, and they will be launching a 2nd label, Deconstruct, very soon. NS-01 by Levon Vincent and Jus Ed has already sold out of it's first pressing, and immediately put the label on the map, being charted by Marcel Dettmann, Shed, and Jan Krueger. Trust us, you will be hearing a lot about these labels in 2009, and you'll probably be hearing a bunch of the unreleased tracks in Anthony's set tonight. Bryan Kasenic (aka Spinoza) is known in the electronic music world for throwing many successful parties, playing adventurous DJ sets, launching an influential newsletter, and starting Beyond, his own booking agency. Best known for throwing the weekly Bunker party for almost 6 years now, Bryan has a ton of experience throwing loft parties and afterhours as well, and is really excited about the new House-n-Home project he founded alongside Parasole. Tonight he will be opening the party with a deep and dubby set.
