  • Yes that’s right it has been a year since the Paul Strange Presents Crew started at the Arthouse and what a year it has been. We have had some great parties over the past 12months and we are not stopping there!! We are have some huge nights coming up including Dirty Laundry, Carl Cox, Fedde le Grand, Funkerman To help us celebrate our 1st birthday this Saturday Seany B and the Cut will be joined Together residents and the Gallery Dj’s. Seany B: Whilst best known for providing the bassy vocals and spicy lyrics for TV Rock’s contagious hit Flaunt It, which topped the ARIA charts for 5 weeks and went on to scoop two ARIA awards for Best Dance Single as well as Highest Selling Single at last years awards, Seany B is no newcomer to the dance scene. In addition to providing no less than three rockin’ tunes on the acclaimed TV Rock album Sunshine City, including the neo – ‘90s Hip House Is Back, Seany B had previously created and fronted the wildly popular underground posse Dirty Laundry and was a regular on the club scene. His first entry into the official singles chart came together with his writing the lyrics & performing his low-slung vocals for his collaboration with TV Rock, FLAUNT IT.Entering the charts at 3, shooting to 1 with a bullet- smashing through to the top of the Australian Singles Chart for over 5 weeks, Flaunt It has now surpassed double-platinum sales , while it's hooks & catchphrases have become the indispensible lingo of club culture. Spending a record 26 weeks in the Top 10 ARIA SINGLES CHARTS and an unprecedented 63 WEEKS in the ARIA TOP 20 DANCE CHARTS- "FLAUNT IT," has etched it's way into Australian music history, bringing home 2 ARIA Awards in 2006 for Best Dance Single & Highest Selling Australian Single. The Cut: (Jeremy Hill &Jamie Kaye) Jamie burst onto the Australian dance scene in 2004 as Punq DJ with his remix of Vandalism’s – ‘Never Say Never’. The track charted at Number 1 in the ARIA dance charts for 12 weeks. He has been a working DJ/producer all over the world for the past 10 years playing everywhere that matters.Jeremy Hill is the quiet achiever of the bunch and the real genius behind The Cut’s production duties. Writing under the pseudonym of Jeremy Joshua, he has released two successful deep tech house albums, ‘The Concrete Duck’ and ‘Praying For Mojo’ released on Casa Del Disco. As a DJ he has played all over Australia alongside some of the greatest house names in the world gaining the respect and friendship of many of these big hitters along the way - Derrick Carter amongst them who recently remixed one of Jeremy's tracks – ‘make dat shit'. Mark Farina personally has also cited him as his "favourite DJ”. The Cut have been an instant success story from the get go with their first release being signed to Australian Electro-house heavyweights, Vicious. The label liked the track so much that a multiple track record deal followed. Just about every Cut remix and original in the mean time has made its way into TV and multi-media and have also landed on the worlds favourite take home house packages such as Pacha, Ministry of Sound and OneLove.
