One of the most diverse and innovative dance music producers on the scene Baobinga continues to build on a great year after releasing not one but two 5/5 (DJ mag / IDJ) albums, "Big Monster" and, as The Body Snatchers, "Feeling Good, Looking Nice, Smelling Right", both which spawned a host of great single releases for Fat! Records and Passenger Records. As a regular guest DJ at Fabric and other top clubs around the world Baobinga has now also started to work with Fabric's publishing department to push his vast and varied back catalogue - including the critically acclaimed 'Big Monster' album with I.D.
Baobinga & I.D have recently remixed the Stanton Warriors track 'Blazin' and their mix will appear as a single and on the forthcoming Stantons Sessions project.
Fat! Records will be releasing a new pack of remixes from the Baobinga & I.D. present 'Big Monster' album (DJ Mag's Album Of The Issue). Baobinga is also collaborating with local Manchester hype boys Heavy Feet on a series of West Coast US - style bumpty house tracks, and he is working on beats for the new Ragga Twins album, due next year on Passenger.
The Body Snatchers, aka Baobinga & 30Hz, are currently featured on the cover of Computer Music magazine, where they give a video tutorial in how they put together their signature 'acid crunk' sound, as featured on their debut album, 'Feeling Good, Looking Nice, Smelling Right'. Having already grabbed the attention of Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Rob Da Bank and even the mighty Westwood, a double single & video package (with remixes from Micky Slim, Joker and Hijack - amongst others) is due for the end of the year.
