• Wallop. This November the 8th, Sweatshop welcomes the legendary Idjut Boys and Rob Mello to help us celebrate the day that comes 3 days after fireworks night. The Idjuts, who really need no introduction, are a bona fide nightclub institution, gaining inspiration from Harvey's Tonka Sound System then from there going on to conquer the worlds more discerning dance floors with their own inimitable brand of dubby disco and infamous re-edits. Regularly rocking all the right clubs and festivals the Idjuts will be making their debut at Sweatshop and follow Prins Thomas' amazing whisky disco bonanza last month. Seen. (Dis?)Ably assisting the Idjuts in the main room are The Wild Geese, the dj / production team of Frank Tope, Dan Foat and test tube production wunderkind Nathan Boddy. Spectacularly surnamed DJs Tope and Foat will be on hand to prop each other up and will also be playing a few records such as (advertisement) The Wild Geese debut EP forthcoming on Flashback Records. Upstairs in the bar we welcome our dear friend Rob Mello, legendary London house dj and producer responsible for defining releases on Classic and more recently his Disco 45 imprint. Rob will be digging deep into his collection to play an eclectic party set alongside London's finest rave enthusiast Dan.I.Mal Hill. So there you have it. Errrr Lock down your breadbins.
