SoCo Social Halloween presents Annie Mac & DJ Yoda
It’s the scariest night of the year and SoCo Social promises to frighten you into the weekend with their special Halloween extravaganza!
Hosted at London hot spot, The Big Chill ‘Haunted’ House, on Friday 31st October from 8pm-3am, SoCo Social presents some of the UKs finest talent across two floors. The main room plays host to Radio 1’s golden girl Annie Mac and AV extraordinaire DJ Yoda with electro wiz-kids Leatherhead and Henry Relph in support; upstairs prepare for some funk from DJ Shepdog and a taste of party rave from Living In A Disco.
SoCo Social Halloween will draw on one of the biggest party days in the New Orleans calendar to create an atmosphere like no other. Thousands of revellers decked out in extravagant fancy dress costumes take to the streets in a party which sweeps the entire country. In London expect a haunted house with creepy costumes, ghostly face painting, ghoulish pumpkins, eerie alcoves, spooky spaces and haunting visuals all mixed up with the nu-rave-neon SoCo Social has become renowned for. Guests are advised ‘dress to scare!’
Currently hosting two of Radio 1s biggest shows Annie Mac has projected herself firmly into the limelight with her mix of musical genres and ‘down with the kids’ personality. With regular slots at Cream Ibiza and hosting her own tent at Creamfields this lady has cast herself as one of the worlds most in demand DJs; expect glitchy electro and big scary beats.
Described by Q Magazine as one of ‘The top ten DJs to see before you die’ DJ Yoda will be performing a very special Halloween AV Set exclusively for SoCo Social. The cut and paste happy fanatic will be projecting his remarkable visual and sound show onto three screens throughout the venue for a performance which is set to be talk of the town.
Support comes in the form of bright new talent DJ Henry Relph and the blistering hot duo Leatherhead. Creating a buzz in the club scenes in London, Paris and LA with his eclectic, party friendly sets Relph fuses hip hop influences with classic rock and disco whilst Leatherhead, fresh from their banging SoCo Social Ibiza set, will be spinning hard hitting bass lines and lots of nice glitchy beats.
Decked out in goblin green the upstairs bar will host Shoreditch hipsters Living In A Disco; with monthly residencies at two of East London’s hottest venues under their belts the disco boys will be providing some of their trademark party electro and ‘astro-electroid’ bangers. In support expect big beat funk with a dash of soul from Big Chill’s own DJ Shepdog.
This is a FREE event and tickets can be applied for at www.socosocial.co.uk. Alongside free entry to one of the hottest nights in the city, entry will also secure two complimentary SoCo drinks, expertly mixed by our mixologists.
