- The launch of the new Saturday at the Civic marks a significant addition to the Sydney social calendar. Combining the best elements of club culture; music, fashion, visual art and live performances, Civic Saturdays are set to become the new favourite amongst both Sydney socialites and musical talent. The event will take place over 3 floors at The Civic; the underground, roof terrace and main bar. The Underground boasts Sydney's best sound system which also utilises the renowned Allan & Heath v6 rotary mixer. It's an uncompromising level of quality as a venue and this is a launch party to match. The night, which is set to include more than a few superstars before the end of the year, is as much about home grown talent as big name internationals and for the launch they've handpicked 2 of the best. J Nitty, currently enjoying massive success with his underground house anthem, Deep Down (which is getting plays from the likes of Carl Cox & Roger Sanchez) joins Sydney favourite Robbie Lowe. They’re joined by Jasmine and Tom Cooper in the Underground and Sampology (Brisbane’s answer to Too Many DJs), Rackus and Bobby Perez on the ground floor.
