  • SJM Concerts present The Stills Plus Special Guests Over 18's Forming in Montreal in 2000, and shortly thereafter relocating to New York as one of the first signings to Vice Recordings, The Stills quickly rose to prominence with the release of their debut album, Logic Will Break Your Heart, in 2004, which spawned the hit singles "Still in Love Song" and "Lola Stars and Stripes". In late 2007, Arts & Crafts signed the band to a worldwide recording deal. The Stills will be releasing their new album, Oceans Will Rise, on October the 20th. The new album showcases a reinvigorated band armed with a razor-sharp sense of melody and a wholly rejuvenated sense of itself. The band recently performed to 300,000 fans in their native province, supporting Sir Paul McCartney at the historic celebration of the 400th Anniversary of Quebec City. They performed a cheeky segue of their ‘Don't Talk Down' into McCartney's ‘Two Of Us'. Currently they are embarking on a major US tour - hand-picked for openers by Kings Of Leon. During their UK tour The Stills will be performing highlights from Logic Will Break Your Heart (2004) and Without Feathers (2006) in addition to their latest album singles. "Being Here", the anthemic lead single, is the bands best performing radio single to date, currently in the top 20 and climbing the commercial rock radio charts. LIVE: THE STILLS 7-1 £11 adv
