About Eat Static
Eat Static was born as Acid House exploded in 1994. So 2014 is a milestone for the band. It marks 25 years since the day Ozric Tentacle members, Joie Hinton and Merv Pepler joined forces with Steve Everett to record their very own brand of sci-fi infused electronic dance music.
The band became one of the UK’s first live dance music acts. The ingenuity of their live shows was experienced at countless free parties and raves including Club Dog parties and the legendary RAGE nights at Heaven.
Over the years, Eat Static have partnered and played with the A-Z of music industry legends. Twelve albums, countless collaborations and several thousand gig dates later - Eat Static evolved into Merv Pepler’s solo project.
Merv continues to fly the flag with the soon-to-be-launched 25th anniversary album. Come get a first-hand taster of it this Winter Solstice night.
