On December 27th, Berlin DJ Tom Peters premieres the I Think About You All The Time journey together with Culoe De Song at Berlin’s Arena Club from Midnight till Late
Now, mixing his own idiosyncratic spell of melodic Minimal and Deep Techno, Peters captures the imagination, and explores our connection with ourselves and the people around us. Playing with the fine line between the subjective and group consciousness, I Think About You All The Time embodies the journey of the excitement and obsession of falling in love.
In a smaller club setting, Peters is able to weave a sonic dream of Intimate Techno. Where big club parties can set anonymity in focus, the Intimate Techno mood is connective and sensual. I Think About You All The Time is a techno love letter experience, elevating the heartbeat with what could be possible.
Culoe De Song is constantly rising higher his music has been described as “epic African house with a strange touch,” while he sums it up as “a dramatic vibration of ‘the drum’.” Culoe’s chords sky-write while his rhythms writhe, and more than any other SA house artist he’s managed to ‘successfully segue international and local sounds – mixing the best beats from both worlds.
In 2009, Culoe De Song signed under Germany’s Innervisions, a family of acts such as Dixon, Ame, Henrik Schwarz releasing tracks such as “The Bright Forest”, “Super Afro”, and “African Subway”. Also, he is now working on a number of projects as part of his emerging international introduction, including the Reggie Dokes “Let Me Go” EP released on Boddhi Satva’s Offering Recordings, Belgium.
