A House Meets Gospel Experience Like No Other - Church!
The late great Frankie Knuckles once called house music ‘church for people that have fallen from grace’.
Anyone who has been caught up in the rapture of a true house classic can testify to its power to unify and uplift, and a House Gospel Choir performance will take you there.
If you've seen them live you'll be able to testify! If you haven't, you've got a choice of 3 shows brought to you by the renowned EFG London Jazz Festival on Thursday 20th, Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd November.
Directed by ShezAr Mckenzie, DJ Funk Butcher with Dezy Bongo on live percussion and Stevie Mac on keys combine with the choir — whose leaders have sessioned and toured with the likes of Grace Jones, MNEK, Labrinth, Scissor Sisters, Wretch 32, Naughty Boy and Bryan Ferry — to create an electric house-meets-gospel sound will raise the roof.
