As September slowly adds towards the end of the party season we look up and shut our eyes in an attempt to capture all those memories of another rocking summer… days are getting shorter but let’s face it, we don’t really care that much in this filthy side of town do we?. What’s more, as days get shorter NIGHTS become longer and that’s what we are sharing with you.
September is always as full of melancholy as it is of hope. As hazy memories of the sunny days start to fade we hurry to focus on new projects to ease the blues away and this is what !KNUF is here for!
Taking over Cosmo Bar with a solid approach to todays’ dance music scene !Knuf is a new night by the people who brought you parties such as minim(o) and entropy, evolving as fastly paced as our music does.
This opening night for !KNUF will see the likes of guest DJs Anthea (Phonica / Mojuba) a familiar face in the scene that has played with the likes of Locodice, David Duriez, Dan Ghenacia and Mr C to name a few and has graced the decks at Circoloco, T Bar and PanoramaBar amongst other. Recent adventures in the production field gained her a release in the well respected house label Mojuba. She is one to watch!
Next on the bill are Brian and Simone aka Sweet & Vicious (Kitchen Party), enjoying the benefits of having one of the coolest parties in London at the moment. Yes that’s Kitchen Party in case you were doubting and our dear friends Amplified Message Of Peace aka AMP (Eclektico) with their unique blend of electronica, disco and whichever style happens to touch their hearts. If it’s good, they’ll play it.
Of course such line up will get the unmistakable touch from the !Knuf residents’ crew with Jordi Mas (sounderground) doing an earlier set than usual – don’t miss the guys’ deep selections ; Maura (entropy) playing the last set to send you all off begging for more and Alejandro Asencio (Luckycloud soundsystem) warming up the cookies on the disco room fresh from an inspirational month of musical discoveries.
The party will start at 10pm and will carry on until 4am.
Bring on the night! I couldn’t stand another hour of daylight….
