For the fourth Tropical Waste, we welcome Berlin-based M.E.S.H. plus our friends Vegyn & Ersatz for a night of skewed club music.
M.E.S.H.'s 'Scythians' was released via PAN earlier this year and has turned out to be one of our favourite tracks of 2014. Taken from an EP of the same name, it's a tumultuous workout that flips club music completely upside down. His DJ style is no less adventurous, blending assorted strains of bass-heavy music into a bristling whole. A member of the experimental Janus collective that's based out of Berlin, M.E.S.H. joins us ahead of bookings at Berghain and Unsound festival.
Vegyn & ERSATZ (Plz Make It Ruins/Gaez)
Londoners Vegyn & ERSATZ have a keen ear for rhythmic soundsystem music. Their own productions find home on Vegyn's Plz Make It Ruins label while their taste in invigorating club cuts is showcased at Gaez, the party they run together. Very much on the same off-kilter vibe as us, the young duo return to Tropical Waste having played our first party back in April.
Iydes & Seb (NTS)
Tropical Waste residents Iydes and Seb bring what they do on their NTS radio show every month to an intimate basement space. Expect a non-linear selection that bumps hard in the dead of night.
