Imagine the two biggest DJ names ever right now and then combine them with the two second biggest names in DJing right now. The DHS are a DJ band that formed in Berlin in 2008. With Finn Johannsen, Icasol, Marc Schaller and King Kummi, they became widely regarded as the greatest and most influential act of the DJ era. Rooted in skiffle, beat and 1950s techno, the DHS later experimented with several genres, ranging from pop ballads to psychedelic and disco rock, often incorporating classical goofy elements in innovative ways. In the early 2010s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Druffalomania", but as their mixing skills grew in sophistication they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the era's sociocultural revolutions.
