It’s been over a month now but we’re still floating high above the clouds from our last LS and the way that you, Libertines, made our new venue feel like home straight away.
Friday 11 april, join us at our new LS temple with nobody else than :
Over the past 2 years Bristol’s Julio Bashmore has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting names to have emerged from the UK’s House music scene. From tracks like the wonderful ‘Au Seve’, that catapulted him to international stardom, to his latest hit single with Jesse Ware ‘Peppermint’, Bashmore’s knack for creating underground music that can move even the biggest crowds has long made him a favourite at LS.
British producer Funkineven may trace his roots to the Caribbean island of Grenada but it’s the wild untamed spirit of ‘80s Chicago, filtered through London’s current underground club scene, that infuses his music. Producing music that sounds both raw and soulful at the same time, steeped in dance music history but totally of the now one thing is certain tracks like ‘Rolands Jam’ and ‘Telephone’ are guaranteed to move your body.
Already looking very comfortable behind the decks at our new home Libertine’s resident DJ, and Exploited Records star producer, Mickey is back to show us how to get a party started properly.
Christoph’s been working you into a dancing frenzy here at Libertine since 2009 with his wonderful mix of house and techno, now it’s his time to show Bloody L just what he can do.
